Peak Nutrition for Life LLC

I have been a Registered Dietitian for 26 years with a background in dialysis and prenatal nutrition. After taking some time off to focus on my family and raise three sons, I decided to further my education and pursue a master’s degree in nutrition. While this was very challenging, it turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. This led to the creation of my private practice.

In some of my personal life experiences, I have applied what I have learned in my studies and training. The two with the most significant impact are being diagnosed with gestational diabetes during two of my pregnancies and having one son diagnosed with Crohn’s disease when he was 13. I have witnessed first- hand working in the nutrition field, how people with diet-related chronic diseases can suffer. I firmly believe that a healthy diet and exercise play a role in chronic disease prevention.

Currently, I live in North Carolina with my husband and three sons, and in my spare time, I enjoy yoga, running, cooking and traveling with my family. Food is a big part of our family life, and we love to try new foods and restaurants. My motto is "There are no bad foods. Everything in moderation is the key."
